Leads vs. Clients

In Ingegno, leads are potential customers and clients are confirmed customers. When a lead converts, they become a client — keeping their full history intact.

The client list

Click Clients in the left sidebar to view all your clients. The table shows:

  • Client — Client name with avatar initials
  • Company — Company name
  • Email — Contact email
  • Total Value — Total value of proposals/business with this client (in €)
  • Assigned To — Team member responsible
  • Interactions — Quick badges showing number of activities and proposals (e.g., "0 activities", "0 proposals")
  • Actions — Quick action menu (⋯)

Creating a client

You can create clients directly or convert them from leads:

Directly

  1. Click Clients in the left sidebar
  2. Click + Create Client (top right)
  3. Fill in the client's details
  4. Click Save

Via import

  1. Click Import Clients (top right)
  2. Upload your file
  3. Map fields and confirm

From a lead

When a lead converts to a client (from the lead profile), they automatically appear in the Clients section with all their history preserved.

Filtering and searching clients

Use the search bar to find clients by name, email, or company.

Additional filters:

  • Assigned To — Filter by assigned team member
  • Tags — Filter by tags (e.g., "vip", "enterprise", "priority")

Click View to customize which columns appear in the table.

Client profile

Click on any client to open their full profile. Similar to lead profiles, you'll find:

  • Contact information and custom fields in the right sidebar
  • Activity timeline and interaction history
  • Tabs for appointments, WhatsApp, Live Chat, notes, and documents
  • The ability to add activities, notes, and documents

The Interazioni summary on the client list gives you a quick view of how many activities and proposals are associated with each client.

Working with client profiles

Adding notes

  1. Open the client profile
  2. Go to the Notes tab
  3. Add your note — notes are visible to your entire team

Viewing interaction history

The Activity History tab shows everything in chronological order:

  • Tasks and follow-ups
  • Phone calls logged
  • Meetings scheduled
  • Notes added

This gives your team full context on every client interaction, even if a different team member handled it.

Stay in touch

Check the Interactions column in the client list to quickly spot clients with few or no recent activities. Regular check-ins help maintain strong relationships.
