Activities & Tasks
Schedule follow-ups, track tasks, and log interactions with your leads and clients.
What are activities?
Activities are the actions your team takes to move leads forward and maintain client relationships. In Ingegno, activities include tasks, follow-ups, calls, meetings, and other interactions you want to track.
The activities page
Click Activities in the left sidebar to see all activities across your workspace. Activities are grouped by date — you'll see sections like "Today", "Yesterday", and so on.
Each activity card shows:
- Type badge — e.g., "Task" (shown as a colored tag)
- Status — e.g., "Completed" when done
- Title — Description of the activity
- Linked contact — Which lead or client this activity relates to, with a direct link
- Description — Detailed notes about the activity
- Creation date
- Completion checkbox — Mark as completed to mark it as done
- Action menu (⋯) — Additional options
Filtering activities
Use the filter dropdowns at the top of the page:
- All Types — Filter by activity type (e.g., Task, Call, Meeting)
- All Statuses — Filter by status (e.g., pending, completed)
Creating an activity
From the Activities page
- Click Activities in the left sidebar
- Click + Create Activity (top right)
- Fill in the details: title, type, description, linked contact, due date
- Click Save
From a lead or client profile
- Open a lead or client profile
- In the Overview or Activity History tab, click + Add Activity
- Fill in the details
- The activity will be linked to that contact automatically
From the Dashboard
The Dashboard shows Upcoming Activities and provides a quick link to Create your first activity if none are scheduled.
From the Calendar
- Go to Calendar in the left sidebar
- Click + New Appointment to create a new appointment
- The appointment will appear both in the Calendar and in Activities
Completing activities
To mark an activity as done, click the Mark as completed checkbox on the activity card. Completed activities display a green "Completed" badge.
Activity timeline on profiles
Every lead and client profile has an activity timeline in the Overview and Activity History tabs. This shows:
- All activities in chronological order
- Type badges and completion status
- Direct links to the associated contact
- Full descriptions with "Read more" for longer text
Recent and upcoming activities on the Dashboard
The Dashboard provides two activity widgets:
- Recent Activities — Your latest activities with quick access links
- Upcoming Activities — Upcoming scheduled activities
This gives you an at-a-glance view of what's been done and what's coming up.
Daily routine
Start each day by checking the Activities page. Focus on today's tasks first, then review any overdue items. This simple habit ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
