What is the App Store
The App Store is a built-in marketplace within Ingegno CRM that allows you to discover, install, and manage applications that extend the functionality of your CRM. Whether you need marketing automation, analytics, communication tools, or custom integrations, the App Store provides a curated collection of apps designed to enhance your workflow and boost productivity.
Apps available in the App Store range from free tools to one-time purchase options, giving you flexibility in choosing solutions that fit your budget and requirements.
Accessing the App Store
To access the App Store, look for the App Store section in the sidebar navigation. Click on it to see the following options:
- Explore Apps – Browse the full marketplace
- Installed Apps – View and manage apps already installed in your workspace
- Developer Portal – Create, publish, and manage your own apps (with subsections: Overview, My Apps, Payments, Settings)
Exploring Apps
The Explore Apps page lets you discover new applications to enhance your CRM.
Browsing the Marketplace
When you first visit Explore Apps, you'll see the heading "Discover and install apps to enhance your CRM" above the marketplace interface.
Search functionality: Use the search input to find specific apps by name or keyword. Sorting: Use the Sort dropdown to organize apps by Most Popular, helping you find the most widely used solutions first.Filtering Apps
The App Store provides multiple ways to filter apps to match your needs:
Price Filters:- Free – No cost to install
- One-time – Requires a one-time purchase
Select from the following categories to narrow your results:
- All
- Marketing
- Sales
- Analytics
- Productivity
- Communication
- Integrations
- Finance
- Support
- Automation
- Other
App Marketplace Display
The marketplace shows All Apps available in the current view. If no apps match your search or filters, you'll see the message "No apps available" with a suggestion to adjust your search or filters.
Installing an App
To install an app from the App Store:
- Navigate to Explore Apps
- Use search, sort, and filter options to find the app you want
- Click on the app card to view its details
- Review the app's description, features, and permissions required
- Click the install button to add the app to your workspace
- The app will be immediately available in your Installed Apps
Some apps may require additional configuration after installation. Check the app's documentation or settings for any setup steps.
Managing Installed Apps
The Installed Apps page displays all apps currently active in your workspace. You can manage, open, and remove apps from this centralized location.
Viewing Installed Apps
- Navigate to Installed Apps in the sidebar
- You'll see the heading "Manage apps installed in your workspace"
- Use the search bar to quickly find an app by typing "Search installed apps..."
Viewing App Details
Each installed app displays the following information:
- App name – The name of the installed application
- Category badge – Shows the app's category (e.g., "Write")
- Author – Displays "by Ingegno" for official apps or the developer name
- Price – Shows "Free" or the purchase price
- Permissions – Lists the number of permissions granted (e.g., "7 permissions granted")
- Installation date – Shows when the app was installed (e.g., "Installed 3/18/2026")
Opening an App
Click the Open button on an app card to launch the application within your CRM workspace.
Changing View
Toggle between list view and grid view using the view icons in the top-right corner to see your installed apps in your preferred layout.
Filtering Installed Apps
Use the All filter dropdown to show only specific categories of installed apps, making it easier to navigate if you have many apps installed.
Uninstalling an App
To remove an app from your workspace:
- Click the ⋯ (three-dot menu) on the app card
- Select the uninstall option
- Confirm the removal
Once uninstalled, the app will no longer be available in your workspace, though you can reinstall it anytime from Explore Apps.
Reviewing App Permissions
When an app is installed, it may request access to certain data and features in your CRM. You can see the number of permissions granted to each app in the Installed Apps view. For detailed information about what permissions an app has, refer to the app's settings or developer documentation.
Review app permissions regularly and uninstall apps you no longer use to maintain security and workspace efficiency.

Installing and Managing Apps
